CRS / Horton Records team up for European releases

Horton Records is excited to announce an expanded partnership with Continental Record Services in Europe (see below).  We’re fortunate to work with Bert Pijpers and the CRS staff, who have a history of supporting independent artists and independent labels, while developing markets for those artists across Europe.  Please check out the announcement below and thank you for continuing to support Oklahoma artists and independent artists in general.   Happy Holidays!   Cheers!

Here’s the official release from CRS:

INTRODUCING: HORTON RECORDS

Now if that’s not a great way to finish off 2015 and to start the new year! After licensing the wonderful Wink Burcham album “Cowboy Heroes and Old Folk Songs” (https://continentalrecordservices.bandcamp.com/album/cowboy-heroes-and-old-folk-songs) from that delightful little Oklahoman label we will now be representing their full catalog, introducing the best Americana discoveries from that talented state (remember Woody Guthrie, JJ Cale, John Fullbright, just to name a few?) in Europe. We kick off with no less than 5 releases that represent the versatile range of musical styles that can be found on Horton Records.
There’s JJ Cale reminiscent folk by Paul Benjaman and his band, western swing by Jacob Tovar, indie pop by Rachel Dean, a singer/songwriter album from Dan Martin and rocking Americana from Pilgrim.
All very exciting and to be released in Europe in January and February! So meet the label and it’s artists, check the videos and the albums below!

Happy Holidays and we have more news to share so stay tuned!

Paul Benjaman Band – “Sneaker”

Jacob Tovar & The Saddle Tramps – self-titled
